30th Annual
Wild Horse Prairie Days

It is WHPDs passion to continue the ranching heritage and to teach people about this important part of our history, so future generations can appreciate this way of life. So much so, that the Thursday before the ranch rodeo, at the sponsor dinner, we award 2 scholarships to qualifying students.  We are friends and loved ones that come together, as one big family, once a year, the first weekend of June. Whether you are a spectator or competitor, you are a part of the Wild Horse Prairie Days family. 

The next WHPD event is June 6th-8th, 2025 in Haskell, TX. It includes a two-day WRCA ranch rodeo, an RHAA ranch horse show, team roping, trade show, and parade. Then the following weekend, we have a two-day calf/break away roping, and a double mugging.

• awards to Top Hand and Reserve Top Hand of weekend
